Enterprise Ireland has invested into 3Q Solutions and their wealth management products.

DUBLIN, Ireland / …dateline // 3Q Solutions, a Dublin based provider of wealth management solutions, has recently completed a round of funding through Enterprise Ireland. The new funding will be used for extensive sales and marketing activities, ongoing research and development, as well as continued entry into European markets. The funding comes on the back of extensive Enterprise Ireland analysis of 3Q and its products and services.

The company plans to use this recent round of funding to continue its aggressive growth strategies throughout Europe. “Our aim is to move beyond Ireland and the UK, where we are continuing to establish a strong presence. This recent round of Enterprise Ireland support will certainly help us achieve our goals in Europe,” said Ray Young, CEO, 3Q Solutions.

COO, Brian Hanly notes the company has achieved their funding targets for the year. “As a company in Enterprise Ireland’s ‘High Potential Start-Up Pool’, this funding is both exciting and crucial”, says Hanly, “we know we have an innovative product offering but having the support of Enterprise Ireland really proves our formula is right. To date 3Q has raised just over €1 million in funding which will allow us to continue to develop and really attack the UK market”, said Hanly.

Enterprise Ireland is given a limited budget each year to support small business start-ups. According to Enterprise Ireland, “Enterprise Ireland match the financial needs of a new company, by providing finance as the company gets started and by sharing the risk dynamic. Funding is up to 50/50 grant/equity, with Enterprise Ireland taking up to a maximum of 10% of the company's ordinary share capital. This initiative takes some of the risk out of new business start-up as well as providing continued advisory assistance throughout the expenditure”.

This funding follows the announcement of John C Finan, UK insurance expert, as Chairman of 3Q Solutions at the end of July. Enterprise Ireland UK introduced 3Q Solutions team to Finan. This Chairmanship is part of the Enterprise Ireland UK Business Acceleration programme which joins 3Q Solutions with an industry expert who will support the company’s expansion and developments in the UK.
