DUBLIN, Ireland / …dateline / 3Q Solutions, a Dublin based provider of wealth management solutions, attended and spoke at the conference titled “Private Banking and Wealth Management 2004 – Capturing the Hearts and Portfolio of the Mass Affluent and High Net Worth Individuals” in Paris in the early part of 2004. This two-day event brought together members from the private and retail banking sector, as well as experts in the industry. The conference focused on challenges in the wealth management sector along with private banking trends and new regulations in the EU.
3Q's Strategic Development Manager, Eddie Hobbs and CEO, Ray Young attended this European event. Hobbs took centre stage on the second day and spoke on “Why Applications are not Driving Sales – A Message from the Coalface”. Hobbs focused on why existing business applications are not being used profitably within European financial institutions.
“Unless the systems are a good customised match for the organisation, the applications will energise neither the client nor the advisor. The key is to develop a tool that will support the human aspects of the advisory and sales process while meeting the organisational needs for control,” said Hobbs . It is this 3Q thinking that many delegates were interested in during the conference.
3Q have developed a customer-focused approach to wealth management. The company is moving from the legacy, over-engineered systems to a more user-friendly and customer centred approach. This visionary approach is proving to be a success in financial institutions that are beginning to change their traditional business practices to more customer centric approaches.
The conference was organised by Investance, a Paris-based financial services consultancy company. Their successful events are mainly targeted at the Benelux , France , UK and Germany . “The event proved very beneficial as 3Q's name is becoming more and more known in the wealth management domain”, said Young.
