3Q Solutions Completes BES Funding

DUBLIN Ireland/ Dateline / 3Q Solutions, a Dublin based software developer of wealth management solutions for financial service companies has successfully completed a round of Business Expansion Scheme (BES) funding raising nearly €400,000. The company has also signed a deal with an Irish financial services company and is in talks with several other companies in Ireland and Scandinavia.
The company plans to use this financing to continue research and development as well as continued sales and marketing. “The funding will be vital to our expanding sales and marketing capability”, said Priya Patel , Marketing Manager for 3Q. The company plans to focus primarily on events marketing for 2004 in Scandinavia and the UK. “Our comprehensive sales and marketing plan for 2004 is aggressive but will help us continue to expand into new markets”, said Patel.
The BES funding which has been vital to the company's recent growth was raised from investors throughout Ireland. The BES was set up in 1984 and the Government plans to cut it at the end of this year as previously outlined by the Revenue. The scheme provides individual investors with a tax relief in respect of their investment in certain areas of manufacturing, tourism and research and development.
